Residential Garbage Pick-up Service?

You can just leave bags if you like.  Maybe put them in a wheelbarrow if you have one.  You can get fancy with cans too if you like.  Less is more if you want to avoid theft in certain areas.

I like this idea. We would keep lined garbage cans inside the fenced area. Take out the bags and put them outside the fence the night before garbage pickup. Do we need to worry about feral cats or pigs ripping open the bags? On the mainland, raccoons were so clever, they could not only scavenge a plastic bag, they could also pop open most metal or plastic garbage cans, until I spring-loaded the cover.
