I don't think they will come out to your house to catch the cat, but you may be able to trap it with a large enough cage, and bring it to the Keaau or Kona shelters. As always, the amount of time a shelter will keep a cat or dog alive depends on many factors, the most important being the availability of people willing to adopt the pet.
