Patricia,
With all due respect, informing HPP Owners of the ongoing activities with HPP and/or HPPOA is not the responsibility of Mr. and/or Mrs. John Q. Public, or in other words, yourself. It's the duty of HPPOA and its elected Board. Even if they don't do it on time and/or properly, it's still no one else's responsibility or duty to do so.
Having said that, in as much as I have read all your posts on all your threads about HPP, I am NOT seeing anything illegal. In as much as I am a lawyer, my specialty is only copyright law, nor do I practice law in the State of Hawaii. While you bring up some interesting points, unfortunately, and granted, maybe even unintentionally, your points are often clouded in steeply held opinions as to the perceived wrongdoing being discussed. Further, consistently calling the Board of Directors and the voting members of HPPOA "inept," "incompetent," "arrogant," "ignorant," "illegal," jokes, "shoddy, "lemmings" et al, regardless of any point you are making, be it valid or yes, nonsense, your delivery method quite frankly sucks. And then you do this while using the persona of "Aloha," "Goodwill," and a "be nice" to everybody approach.
Which is why your posts have come off to most as "gripes." Your projection of "I am right, everybody else is wrong, inept, blah blah blah is very disingenuous at the least.
At any event, I have found the history of interest. I am not a resident of HPP. It's not my cup of tea. I much more prefer the solitude of our 9 Acres here in Hawaiian Acres, where the closet human to me (except my husband and my dog Barney) at any time is a minimum of 1/2 of a mile! And I am more than happy to pay for a new suspension for our vehicles every few years!
Oh, one more thing. The proper abbreviation of Roberts Rules of Order Newly Revised is RONR and not RR&O.
Anyways, just my opinion. Carry on and do whatever your heart desires.
