I know TomK called Windscale a disaster, and no available fresh French bread a crisis. Would this thread now be considered a catastrophe because it is morphing into a discussion of breakfast breads?
Thank you Wahine! Now that you jogged my memory, I think I had a crumpet one morning in a home in Mildenhall. This was many years ago but I'm sure the person who made it called it something else. Quite delicious as I recall.
