While I have kind of led the initial opposition to the rezoning and am very pleased to find that the zoning has failed at council I have placed a call to the applicant to offer to help him find a location for the business that we can fully support. In the right location a self storage would be a community asset.

If at all possible I would prefer to see his dream succeed. Our opposition to the Hwy. 130 site was not personal or antibusiness - just anti bad planning.

Assume the best and ask questions.
