Roads Are Easements Not Planned Communities Or HOAs

The gate was illegal when your mother bought the house and still is. It creates a traffic hazard and you have sure screamed about traffic hazards. Going to Board Meetings and complaining over and over.

Your very 1st board meeting you attended was to bitch about the dust from the road and that was because I believe you were in Wyoming and you hadn't seen the house in person. You were going to call for the water truck multiple times a day until the board paved the road.

Accusing the volunteer board members of skimming money and building a nest egg when they are just following the bylaws is pretty pathetic and despicable.

The reason why you weren't allowed to have a garage door is because you are in and SMA and a tsunami zone.  I'm looking out for you neighbors who will be impacted by your illegal actions. The house is post and pier facing the ocean.

Umm...

As I said, there are 3 of us on the deed. We ALL bought the house and the garage door was here- all kosher. If you want to squeal on my neighbors too (up and down the road) I am sure those with garage doors "facing the ocean" will clap you on the back for "looking out" for them.

It's funny about the gate... Because actually the visibility going in and out is MUCH better than going in and out of the driveway. Anyone who sees the gate will be able to see that as well. HUGE open space, NO blind hills, NO sight limiting vegetation. Definitely NOTHING unsafe about it.

It is odd that you state that my "first meeting was to bitch about the dust" (that was in August of 2021). And yes, I was at that HPPOA board meeting in person. Though at that time I did not "bitch," I was asking questions- Still I have the emails to Finley. So, if I was at the meeting, in person, and you obviously KNOW this (you seem to "know" a lot about me) then HOW would I have been in Wyoming? Curiouser and curioser...

As for my use of the word "skimming," well that IS what the board is doing. The board is taking money, off the top of the road revenue that comes in and, as YOU SAID, building themselves a "nice nestegg" (YOUR descriptive, not mine).

Lastly, talk to Finley about the paving- his idea. He'd been pushing that since day one. And yeah, I did call the water truck- LOTS (so did my neighbors). My mother has health issues and the road dust was exacerbating them. But then road base isnt supposed to sit on a road for YEARS.

Oh, and thanks for describing my family's house and WHERE it is on social media. As I said, pathetic and NASTY.

So, owners and prospective owners of property in substandard subdivisions in Puna, Hawaii, MORE INFO, don't allow abusive, stalkers to bully you into being quiet. Because as you can see, some of them will try. It's been "the way" for DECADES.

Oh, and if you raise your voice a little, be prepared for some of the abusive, stalkers to call it screaming.
