Instead of showing up at a committee meeting and saying "I haven't thought of anything," (these members were tasked with researching and suggesting funding streams) I would suggest that HPPOA first start with a Funding Model and research how OTHER non-profits (who do not just collect mandatory, restricted road fees) support their non-profit activities. A plan is always a good first step. Unfortunately, HPPOA does not seem to believe in planning.

Thank you Patricia!
I will admit, these 10 Fund Raising Models for Non-Profits is very informative and, as each one of the ten no doubt clearly allows for the raising of funds needed by the respective parties, but, somehow, I am a bit skeptical of fund raising programs designed to specifically cure cancer, fund various nonprofit hospitals and universities, fund church and other religious institutions, secures governmental grant funding, helps student loan reductions, and in particular, the large corporate matching fund programs that big and large corporate entities use to make their Corporate Social Responsibility score look good is really going to do anything to help HPP get mailboxes installed.
Further, while I agree that sometimes thinking “outside of the box” is a great way of looking at things, in this case, I’d say maybe you’re looking inside the wrong box here, and again, I think each of the 10 models as you suggest are just fine and great for their intended purposes, I just don’t see them applying to anything that HPP is or does.
But then again, speaking about the big and large corporate fund matching programs, maybe HPP could get Jeff Bezos to do a like 1% or 2% funding match of all Amazon purchases made by the residents in HPP.
You should have a few million really quick, I would think!
