And as the office and staff predominantly exist to conduct road maintenance activities, I would say that paving the area for the office and staff, who also are paid for with road fee money makes sense
There are three main buildings in the HPPOA cluster:
The office
The maintenance shed
The Community Center
The largest parking lot is for the Community Center which has no role in road maintenance. It is for the HPP community. Like mailboxes would be for the HPP community.
So again, is there room for additional mailboxes at the existing roadside locations, if not, where should they go?
I do not recall you asking that question, "is there room for additional mailboxes at the existing roadside locations." But yes, I know others who have conducted that research.
In addition, and as I said, how the existing HPPOA parking lot was paved and paid for needs to be researched. Regardless, paving mailbox pavillion areas are not the same as road maintenance. Just as paving the Walmart parking has nothing to do with and is not financed in the same way as the County Courthouse parking lot.
