Question, where are they going to get the money to pave the main roads in "the next couple of years?" The cost to pave one road will exceed 4 million, which is more than HPPOA collects in yearly road fees (and is even less, after they transfer $170,000 plus into the general account).
Also, not everyone who blows through stop signs, or runs into stone walls are "drug addled." I really think we need to try to get away from those labels. At least half of the people I have witnessed, who have had those types of accidents varied in age (teens through older) and had fallen asleep (not drug induced) or were distracted (cell phones, talking to car companions, etc.)
And if not stop signs, then what?
