Roads Are Easements Not Planned Communities Or HOAs
I would say that launching "A simple and silent" protest that achieves nothing or in any way impacts the organization you are protesting against in any way shape or form from what your purported goal is is pretty damn egotistical and in no way can be considered "clever" and further, means nothing to the topic of roads.

"Achieves nothing or in any way impacts the organization?: Then why are some of you so hot and bothered about my suggesting a protest?

Rethink. HPPOA does not believe, does not want to, that HPP owners are not satisfied with HPPOA's "service." In fact, HPPOA is adamant that just about all HPP Owners (and only a "small fraction") have any complaints about HPPOA at all. But perhaps that is not the case. Perhaps there are more disgruntled HPP owners than HPPOA would like to consider or admit to.

Every month the HPPOA treasurer reads the financial report. Every month the report states the amount of accounts receivable and how much in road fees has been collected. If HPP Owners are disatisfied and wait to pay, resulting in the next 3 months of those reported, collected amounts of road fees being unusually low, should that not give HPPOA pause to consider why that may be? Which is why I will encourage those HPP owners, who are not satisfied with HPPOA's "service," to hold off and not pay until the very last day.

There is nothing egotistical about "simple and silent." And as far as I am aware protest in this country is still allowed (at least, for now). And RESTRICTED road fee money is about roads.

So...

Suggesting a simple and silent protest to send a message to the HPPOA board that some are not happy that their RESTRICTED road fees are being used for other non-road related projects, has nothing to do with ego. This is ALL about the roads.

So...

Make HPPOA wait!

HOTPE whenever you pay your road fee bill and for whatever reason is up to you. As I have said before, whatever others decide to do or not is up to them.

Obie, if you do not like the thread, then do not read it, do not comment on it. Just walk away. For someone who wants this thread and its related topics to die you sure spend an inordinate amount of time here. (That is what some of you want, for the thread to die- correct? You have all attempted every tactic imaginable aside from actually closing it down and censorship.)

If you do not want to read the thread- don't
If you are not interested in the topics on this thread- then feel free not to comment.
If you think my information is incorrect or false, but you have no hard facts to back up your complaints- then perhaps it would be better to research why and HOW my information is incorrect and false and then you could present that research (it would cut down on a lot of unnecessary back and forth- hence, less pages)
If you do not personally like me- that is your perogative and right, but the constant barrage of attacks and truly UNFOUNDED assumptions are nothing short of harassment and some of you doing what others who do not agree have done before (discredit, chase away and if that does not work take away their "Pentagon pass.")

I am not sure how many of you can step back long enough to see how you are behaving, and how much like those you criticize and feel you are superior to (emotionally, intellectually, democratically) you are truly emulating.

If you do not agree- FINE.
Feel FREE to walk away.
