Be Carefull What You Wish For (update on HPPOA lawsuit)
#77
I was a witness to one of those meetings.

I have met Nicole briefly, and have spoken to her briefly (pretty much in passing). So, not sure what you "witnessed." And I am not on the Go Fund Me "list."

It is interesting how you portray the HPP Owners who object to HPPOA's use of deed restricted land and the use of road fee money that is also restricted, as "anti mailbox." Especially as I have never once met or spoken to a person who has not expressed their concerns and/or frustrations with the crap service the USPS head-honchos are dolling out (not just here, but nation-wide). Fixing the mail service issues in HPP should not involve the use of restricted anything, and it certainly should not involve adopting erroneous law, or violating bylaws.

HPP owners who are on "the list" are not "anti-mailbox." They are anti allowing rule-breakers to continue braking the rules.

Nocole has a home in HPP, which she maintains and lives in. She is a resident of HPP-  Whether full-time or not is irrelevant. She has as much right as ANY OTHER HPP owner to seek the enforcement of deed restrictions (which the deeds themselves state are EVERY HPP owner's right) as any other HPP owner. She also has the right to hold the HPPOA board accountable for spending restricted road fee money which she, the same as any other HPP owner, is obligated to pay.

Are you saying, Obie, that any HPP owner who does not live in HPP full time should not be allowed to challenge the HPPOA board? Involve themselves in HPPOA politics? Sue HPPOA for breach of fiduciary duty? I have to tell you, PHH (now HPPOA) already tried that and LOST.

I am not involved in Nicole's lawsuit. Have never been involved. But I TOTALLY agree with everything she has stated in her lawsuit.
