Welcome aboard Jerome John
I think you will find lots of info on this board and meet many new friends. This board ranges from folks living in tents on 10 acres to folks living in elaborate luxury homes. There are 20-somethings on the board and really, really old people
Straight, gay, green, purple, smokers, non-smokers, vegans, carnivores, republicans (I've learned to like a lot of them
, liberals, pot smokers, non-pot smokers, ahhh the list goes on. I guess what I am trying to say is Puna is a great mix of people. Everyone is different and MOST times everyone embraces each others differences. Read through the threads and get to know about the challenges and rewards of Hawaii. Even if you are not planning to build check the building threads as there is a lot of info there. Don't worry about rambling, wait till you see how far off base some of these threads get. Rambling just means you are talking story.
By the way, when Jerry first had heart problems he learned to use scuba diving as a means of relaxation. There is a dive shop in Kona that has tons of photos of the owners diving with Jerry.
