Hey, nice thread, ironyak!

Hopefully someone will post schedules here for future events in advance so the lazier.. less informed.. of us will be encouraged to join in. And, hopefully.. this will go on and grow.

Although, as was the the efforts of the SDS in our youth, who did organize and get massive turnouts repeatedly.. especially for the times.. it is important to note that it was not our marching in the streets that brought down the Vietnam debacle, but rather Hồ Chí Minh with the backing of Mao Zedong that put an end to that chapter of America's insanity.

I've been thinking of what would be the equivalent today, and marching, waving signs and all that, while good for a soundbite, I don't think they are going to move this monster. Seriously, how many millions would it take? Methinks we're heading towards national work stoppages. Full on walkouts.. shut the country down.. to stop the madness as it is right now..

In other words, without consequences... we'll get zip.
