The problem is not MAGA, not hippie new agers etc. It's stupid people who become parents and teach their kids nonsense. I guess there is a large overlap between those on the political extremes, but in the end, the parents are responsible for their children's health. I'm glad schools here don't allow unvaccinated kids to attend school; it gives the responsibility of teaching back to the parents. I feel very sorry for the kids, and I hope they can talk to others and explain why they can't attend school like most children.

Now, why we seem to have more feckwit adults and parents is a completely different subject, but it's hard not to ignore social media's role.
