I had a new roof for my home here two years ago for a total cost of $27K. State Farm did not cover at all, the agent said it was part of wear and tear.
Last year I also had a new roof and new gutter for my old home on the mainland that was damaged by hail storms. I only paid for the deductible portion and State Farm paid the remaining of the cost. The total was almost $20K.
