DF Posted: I came across this 6 year old interview of Henk Rogers by Hunt. Given the wording of his statements and questions here, Hunt has always been skeptical of geothermal and this man clearly did not move his opinion:

What???  Given the wording of his statements and questions???  Tam Hunt in the interviewer in this piece.  It is the task of the interviewer to honestly divine the true beliefs and meanings of the interviewee. ..

Yeah, and he attempted to either put words in the mouth of Rogers or direct him away from geothermal on multiple occasions.  But Rogers was having none of it, now was he?

  Does wind power have a future in Hawaii, or do you think we should go mostly solar, because of reduced opposition to low-profile solar projects? 

Geothermal is more complicated in Hawaii because of our active volcanoes  

Given the difficulties with geothermal and biomass, do you see the Big Island’s energy future consisting of a large majority of solar, wind and battery storage..
