Agnes, welcome, I was a coral reef diver at the Shedd for almost 12 years! (it is a small world, no?) Even earned a name on the wall.
When I was looking at moving here, I was reading the Juviks' "Atlas of Hawaii", one of the interesting details is that the Chicago area is the most continental weather influenced areas in the world, and Hawaii is the most maritime weather influenced area. I think that one statement was the sealing deal in our decision to move(that and 47 winters & summers in the Chicago area!)
