After 20 years, WaaWaa and Kapoho are my spots and yes magical... throwing in Puako also on the West Side but way way out of my budget. Our neighborhood is a real community. We bicker, we grumble , we help each other out.... same as any family... I love swimming and the hot ponds so close to me. I cant handle the mold up higher. Hi Acres even though many of my friends are up there just about killed me... seriously.... but then I spent the first 25 years of my life in the desert called the SF Valley so I had no early mold exposure!
I think WaaWaa will be one of the last outposts of true Hawaii.
