Ask Hawaii Catchment Co. They will know where to put it. I'm sure they will have the fittings for the one inch supply. I'm pretty sure you got a high flow rate GPM for that kind of cash, so you should be pretty safe. A UV filter won't effect your pressure. If you let in 15GPM and you bought a 10GPM UV system then the water will not be properly filtered. Normally you buy a UV system, to match the output of the your pump.
