Waimea (as in Kamuela) B&Bs?
#5
Thanks Carey ... yeah, the newer rooms are better, by the way. I meant more personality than most Motels, not hotels.

This is the tripadvisor page for Kamuela B&B's (note not all are in Waimea, includes Puako and Kohala Estates). I have always heard good things about aaah the Views, but that is for the more special stay and the rate is a bit higher. Not terribly high though.

Maybe these reviews will help.

If you stay in the Kamuela Inn or anywhere in Waimea in winter, take your socks and warm clothes, unless it has a fireplace. oh, and don't stay there for "TV." It was as minimal as TV gets ... but clean and cheap and safe. Also you can walk next door to Merrimans (sadly, not cheap).
