Time to plant salad gardens
#4
This time of year is good to plant things that like cooler weather. Peas, beans, greens, etc. I've got collards, beets, pole beans, indeterminate tomatoes and green peppers started. The lettuce seeds get direct sown since lettuces are too fussy to transplant from the starting flats. Whatever is planted should be grown enough when the rains start to survive the winter rains.
