You will not hear me call them any such names. The local boys are just doing their jobs. Some may be lured to volunteer for that duty for the excitement. I'm sure it is exciting. I would find it so, but I am a little bit adrenalin junkie. I don't always share such a high opinion of the Feds. But yes, the operations will eventually decrease substantially, but it may take a few years to get to a normal level. It probably won't ever stop completely as I'm sure they will use some other money budgeted for enforcement, but the annoyance should become reduced. I wouldn't want to see it get to the point where you are afraid to enter forest preserves for fear of stumbling upon guarded or boobytrapped pot patches. I do agree that the current priority should be ice.
