HADave I don't know if Delta meets the timing requirements you have but their rates for dogs

You need a morning flight to avoid paying Quarantine to keep them overnight in HNL?
And it will be so much less stressful for them to get off the plane and go with you.

There's also a Website on flying with animals that lists the airlines with the best pet safety records and such as well as tips for helping them be less stressed, like giving the dog a tshirt you've worn for a couple days, and that kind of thing.
