I will never have carpet again. It attracts to much dirt and mold. I have had wall to wall ceramic tile for the past 15 years. I won't have ceramic tile again either. It is way too hard, older bones and joints don't like it, and everything breaks when dropped. Next time it will be some of that high end padded vinyl tile or a wood. I figure the vinyl tile would be easier to keep as would the wood.

Oink I'm with you and the old bones. Not quite there yet, but planning for the future!LOl
So my question is why vinyl tiles? I've seen it around, but wouldn't the tiles be subject to moisture penetration when mopping. Why not vinyl sheet, less seems, and perhaps longer life??
One last question, guess I don't get out much, what is cushioned vinyl tile?
