Aloha Mella,
the oven is a Kenmore, it is convection. It will be vented up and back through a microwave. So far we are leaning on tile for the counter tops. The purple is just garnets that are scattered through the slab. Beats the plywood we had when you visted. I'm sure there will be wine on it soon though.[
