If we accept these violations, don’t complain when someone else decides it’s their turn to open something you don’t want in the community. For that matter, let’s just throw out the entire zoning code and let whatever happens happen. Let’s throw out all health, safety and fire regulations, and just take our chances.
I'm often told that Puna is not the place to live. ..... a trailer park without the trailers, filty, blue roof city, and all the other things we hear whenever "Puna" is mentioned. Well, you know what, this reinforces that attitude. If you don't care about the rules designed to protect your community and the children, you are what people say you are.

Another quick question... How many public schools are actually keeping up with the Healthy Schools initiative?
Do we pull the plug on all those schools because they simply don't have the money to implement the programs?
