I noticed, according to that website, that Hawaiian doesn't even allow cats to fly from Sacramento or Phoenix from April 15th to October 15th:
For your pet's safety, Hawaiian has implemented the following restrictions on animal travel due to potential high temperatures which may affect the health of your pet.
Pets included in this embargo: All warm blooded live animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits
