Parks and Recreation spends more $$ in Hilo

gtill, It's not the tourists that would disrupt the paddlers. They have coexisted nicely for years. The county, on the other hand, seems to feel the canoe clubs are dominating the area. I really don't understand where their paranoia is coming from.

In my opinion, the county abandoned bayfront, the canoe clubs improved it, now the county wants control again (without input from the paddlers).

I don't really have a problem with the county fixing up reeds bay. Just leave bayfront alone.
