Ah, but da Cat said it was LOWER cabinets which were 42" tall. That's too tall for lowers.
Deeper upper cabinets sound useful but how does it impact the lower cabinets? Do deeper upper cabinets seem to "loom" above the lowers? It is nice to have deeper lower cabinets, too. 30" deep instead of the usual 24" makes room for appliances to set at the back.
