We slashed about a 1/4 acre of Strawberry Guava out and then sprayed the area with rainproof Round Up kill everything Herbicide to get the little saplings and mess up the ones we cut down. I know we'll have to spray again after the new shoots come back up from the little remaining stumps. We've at least another 1/4 acre of it to remove and we're using heavy duty pruning cutters...
It's got to be the nastiest invasive plant I've ever encountered and worse than the Chinese Black Berry in the Pacific NorthWest. It's choking out our Hala,Ohia and pissing me off to no end.
Is there an easier way to eliminate this stuff?
