Silent Nights

The last few nights have been cold in Mt. View. Last night it got down to 57 degrees. Not a chirp was to be heard from the coqui frogs. It was so quiet that it woke me up. Normally it sounds like the Amazon rain forest at full moon outside my window. I'd like to think that the frogs hopped south for the winter but I know that they'll be back any day. Nice little break though.
