Because many people on Oahu are being mandated to use Public Laundromats to dry their clothes.

Many apartments and houses over there, do not have the voltage to run Dryers.... thus the only way they can dry clothes... is to hang them up.

Now the government is trying to tell people you can't even dry your clothes anymore.

There are very few laundromats that are available to dry your clothes at. Many times you have to wait a long time to access a dryer.

Where I was trying to parallel this with Puna... Is that Puna also has many people living without the voltage to run dryers & there are very few public laundry mats.
