The Europeans got into and over all these topics concerning grocery bags thirty years ago. The Euro solution is not canvas bags or paper bags but mostly woven net bags which do not hold debris and mush up real tiny and small in a glove box, pocket or purse. Cheap, easy, clean and doable.
