Call them all, everyone is different ...
We have Hartford through AARP, but someone has to be 55; that is the cheapest good insurance here, and no one can beat it, at least all the agents say they can't even try.
Second to that, if you own a home, your homeowner's will often give you a discount in order to insure your auto too.
My son uses AIG and likes them better than Geico who he used to use. AIG offers a towing road service plan that replaces AAA road hazard coverage, I know that.
A few other contenders are State Farm, Allstate, and Hawaii AAA. You can also call an independent broker.
Be sure to get uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage, and comprehensive.
