I remember getting lost as a child in a grocery store when I was a small kid, one of the most frightening things that ever happened to me. As a parent now, I think how much more frightened my mother must have been.
It's very easy for parents to get distracted for even that one little second. I don't agree with leashes on kids.... But I sure the heck will yank my son's ear until he follows me closely[
]And while were talking about kids in the airports, don't forget, last week a four year old was left at an airport while their parents went off!
