Thanks for the overly kind words. It's a little embarrassing but it's nice to be appreciated.
I think it's less a reflection on me as on others and the state of affairs that we've gotten ourselves into in most every facet of life, where no matter what the context, whether in personal or business relationships, we've come to expect a screw-job. We have learned that we can't trust other people and we're frankly completely justified in that position. This is part of the reason I crow about the need to build community--and that the core of community isn't anything but mutual trust--something we've really all shot to hell. This MUST change, and the need is more important by the day. There's something really wrong with the world if you're filled with feelings of vague dread every time you check your mail, pick up the phone, or contact your insurance company. And awful lot of people feel that way, and I don't blame them a bit.
