"bleeding" nails

It's a common problem on boats.

OSPHO, as a brand, or phosphoric acid will wipe it away, and seal the nail head.

There you go. It's faster than any of the other suggestions listed, and will take the stain off the side of the house as well.

Paint over with Kilz Premium and you're done.
