These are still service jobs creating nothing and not allowing folks working there to actually live well. Instead of more "doyouwantfrieswiththat" sorts of jobs, we need jobs producing or creating things. Any profit in a service job goes to the corporation who owns the workers. Oh, sorry, I guess that should be "hires" the workers. If you can grow a crop, produce food and sell it, then the profits go to you and not to some corporation.
There is a high end furniture maker in our neighborhood who really likes his work, has a nice lifestyle and somehow it would be nice if more people could live like he and his family does. He learned from his father so I'm not sure how one would go about learning to do the same thing. His entire work ethic is to make the best furniture possible and people pay a lot of money for his work since it is really nice furniture. He is making furniture, not money yet he gets lots of money for his furniture. Corporations try to make money and could care less about furniture even if that's what they make. Corporations don't care about their employees, either.
