Murphy beds?

If it's well built(ahem) and under 2500 bucks, it's a deal. Remember, it moves. If it's crappy, and the joints are shoddy, and all the rest, it will fall apart in 6 months. A Murphy Bed is a more highly engineered structure than your roof. There's at least 1000 bucks of materials in such a bed, if done right, and 2 weeks worth of custom cabinet work.

A quality Murphy bed that won't fall apart will sell for close to 5 grand, for sure. 8 to 10 isn't uncommmon. You can cut that price by saving complexity, but you can't cut quality or it will simply fall apart, especially in this climate.
