Could it be useful to set up an online survey on the question of which options people support (and how much support they would be willing to give in terms of money, hours of direct participation, etc) and then direct everyone in Puna to go "vote" (or indicate their specific preference among the choices offered) at that URL?

It seems like there are far more quiet readers than noisy posters on Punaweb; many folks who may feel shy about posting a response here might be willing to go to a survey site, tag the option which most closely matches their feelings on the matter, and click send.

SurveyMonkey allows up to 100 responses on its free survey option (and validation can be opted for so one person does not vote repeatedly and skew the results).

It might be worth Friends of Puna's Future having a year-round account for putting up all sorts of questions on various issues for Puna-wide consideration and reply at SurveyMonkey or some similar service.
