Putting an ad in a newspaper and sitting by the phone waiting to ring is not proactive marketing. Go to the source, contact the owners of the vacation rental properties. Once you find out where the properties are you can get the addresses of the owners from the tax records. It certainly is a good idea to network with the property manager real estate companies/agents. Good and reputable companies in your business field are in demand, so it's just a question of how you make yourself known. Make sure you are licensed, set up an informative web site so the potential clients would know what you are offering and make good on your promises. Good luck!
