It certainly is not just a pit bull problem when it comes to dogs attacking people or creating havock in any other way. It's easy to blame the breeds "known" for this such as pit bulls and rottweilers.
Many breeds have been known to attack people and so although we all can recognize that certain aspects of aggression are found more so in some breeds, it definitaly has more to do with an owner than the dog.
How in the world can you be sure any dog at all no matter the size or breed won't bite or sttackk while roaming free on the streets? You can't...
And so I'm puzzled as to how banning pit bulls would solve the underlying problem?
