There's an interesting and well written letter to the editor in the Trib today wishing Plastic Bag a farewell. It is a good read whether you agree or not. By Kendal Tidwell of Pahoa.
The opening paragraph...
"Dear Plastic Bag: We've had a lot of good times together. You brought my groceries home for me cleanly and safely, you could be reused as a small trash bag in my kitchen or bathroom, and I could drop you off for recycling outside many stores. But I'm sorry to say that I've found someone better. His name is Cloth Bag, and he's amazing."
