First, that’s one heck of an ego to think that without you and the other bloggers, people would have no idea what’s really going on. There have been many post right here on Punaweb from non-bloggers who provided just as much if not more in-depth information not publicly discussed or printed. That's actually an insult to the people. (afterall, you didn't even know that the military is paying for almost all the Saddle Road improvements, and you still don't know the truth why Walmart pulled out of the DHHL deal)
You are putting words into my mouth. I stated Stephens Media cabal
has a pretty much iron lock on any news reporting here. Thus it is critical that there is blogs here on the Big Island.
Bob, educate me why Wal-Mart pulled out ? As far as the Saddle Road improvement project, are you imply Dave Gedeon (the project engineer
for CFLHD is lying). As far as I understand the State and the Feds
(through DAR) are jointly funding the Saddle Road project.

Oh Geez, your feelings got hurt.
What the heck did you expect? You write your blog. You post it on the internet for people to read. You want people to read it. You hold yourself up as a voice of truth, justice and the Hawaii Island way...And you’re upset because people comments on it in a manner you don’t like? If you don’t want anyone commenting on you or your writings, get a hardcover diary and keep it underneath your socks in the bottom drawer.
There is huge difference you are missing here. I don't mind a educated
discussion about the issues. However when people start take pot shots I draw the line.

Sounds an awful lot like a criticism of DPW. So why can’t people comment freely about how they perceive the BI blogger scene? This would probably be a good time to throw in the “heat” and “frying pan” saying or maybe the "goose" and "gander" is appropriate.
Again there is huge difference in your argument. The DPW is taxpayer financed department. Thus they deserve to be scrutinized. As far as myself I'm just a regular Joe trying to make this a better place.
