7' wide and 20' tall? Sounds like a bizarre desire in a land of earthquakes.
Overall, without seeing the structure in question, I'm not sure if "amazed" is what I want folks to think the first time they see a building I have anything to do with, either as owner or designer. Architecture, IMHO, is a discussion between the use of the land and the use of the people living there, it isn't a statement about the brainstorms of the designer.
I also don't see steel and sustainable as workable in this area. We have zero metal ores on this island, every shred of metal must be imported.
