Redistricting will be an upcoming battle. Hilo will prefer to see Puna with fractional representation. At the present we only have Emily Naeole whose district is wholly within Puna. J. Yoshimoto and Guy Enriques only represent a small portion of the district.
Unfortunately, last summer, Councilwoman Naeole voted against a bill which would have required that the redistricting commission meet in open session instead of behind closed doors. Another example of Emily doing what she is told in Hilo.
We should indeed have another representative due to us. To get PMAR (whatever version) and a raft of other overdue improvements we will have to stand up and fight for it. Hilo takes the lion's share of everything.

Assume the best and ask questions.
