A cyber space how to question
#9
my suggestion about wordpress blogs stands.

It's pretty much a "wysiwyg" (What You See Is What You Get) platform that allows you to see your post w/out having to deal w/ a lot of HTML formatting.

I suggest setting up a practice blog and playing around with it for awhile before you try and get one that you want to be well read.

It's free and there is nothing to lose by practicing.

You can simply go to wordpress.com and it's pretty self explanatory. Like I said earlier... if you can post to PW... you can make and create a blog.

If you want to get real fancy with the blog... then of course you need to practice a bit in adding pictures, movies, audio files, slideshows, powerpoints and other things that you may want to include on your blog.

I suggest doing that a bit before attempting to do it in July on a site that you don't want published... just a mere practice site...

Call it anything you want and simply practice for awhile. When you feel a bit more comfortable... you can simply delete the account or keep it open to practice other things that you may want to try on your blog that is more public.

I have 6 blogs right now. I'm only real active with a few of them.

I'm not sure how much bandwidth you have available at your charter school... if you are using dial up... you may want to just stick with a Text type of a blog.

I do have one blogger on the FBI Site that does upload his blog postings via Dial-up, and he says it is a bit time consuming to do on a dial-up modem.
