Mella's fifth post today!LOL
Recently in the Hana Hou airline magazine there was a very interesting article on the new art and science of growing mushrooms. The article was fascinating as the mushrooms were grown in hanging bags and on a rail like system (sort of like the old dry cleaners shops), drip irrigation into the sack, kept in dark for 60 days and them rotated out into a more sunlit area for finish growing and maturing. Although state of the art system, it was sleek clean, not too expensive and the mushrooms get high dollar from restaurants around the world. Light weight product so air shipping would be reasonable.
Looked workable to me, but I'm an arm chair gardner here, ornamentals only! Link to article hope your enjoy it also. Sustainable shrroomming.
