You might want to check out a couple of spyware checkers. While your virus checker can help with viruses most cannot deal very well with spyware. There are a couple of good ones that are free to use. One is called Spybot Search and Destroy. Make sure you get the one using this title. There are others with similar names. It is free and can immunize your computer to help prevent infection. Also, another good one I have been thoroughly testing is Malwarebytes. It is one of the best in removing spyware. Both are free to use.
