Good morning ~ I'm thinking someone on this board may have an answer to my question. I don't have money to see an attorney at this time.
When I bought my acre 12 years ago I knew there was a large albezia tree in the neighbor's lot behind me but my lot was so perfect that I wasn't going to let it go because of a tree. Now, 12 years later, a tree trimmer told me that the neighbor's tree is now so huge that it will be a danger to my house (and the neighbor's house) in the future. I am going to find out who the neighbor is and talk with them but what if they don't want to cut down the tree? Do I have a legal right to make them cut it down when it becomes a danger to my house?
Thank you for any opinions. Aloha.
